Tim Parish has been the Senior Pastor of New Life Church since January 2003 and has been on staff at New Life since January 1996. Tim has a B.A. from Bethany College of Missions, an M.A. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and has studied at the University of North Dakota, Tajik State University in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and Oxford University in Oxford, England. He has ministered in the U.S. and abroad, including living in Central Asia.
Tim and his wife, Marlene, have four sons-Nathaniel, Graham, Elijah, and Aidan. As you can imagine, their home is filled with lots of activity and energy. Tim enjoys reading (especially C.S. Lewis!), playing golf, watching University of Kentucky basketball, and spending time with his wife and children.
Tim's passion for an authentic community of believers that is outward focused is contagious. His ultimate desire is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Tim enjoys creatively communicating the eternal Word of God in a way that's easily accessible to our generation. His ministry desire is to give pastoral care to God's flock at New Life so every single part of the Body can fulfill their call.
